Can Vel Pooja be performed at home/place of business?:

Method of Worshiping Blackberry Veal:

If there is no brass or copper tampalam, it can be placed in a white or yellow cloth, the white cloth can be soaked in turmeric and dried and also soaked in native cow’s milk or bitter rice and kept for work.

Every day when we bow to Sami, we decorate the ebony tree with flowers of turmeric, saffron, sandalwood, read mantras, songs, 108 praises or kandashashti kavasam for Lord Muruga, light incense and offer worship. Abhishekam is not required and Naivediya is not mandatory. On monthly shashti we can change the country cow thiruneeru or pacharisi in thambalam and put new thiruneeru or pacharisi, we can preserve the existing tiruneeru and apply it daily, bacharisi can be used for cooking vegetarian food.
